SUch an open recording, you can just close your eyes and picture him over sitting in your living room singing and playing. The songs are deep and adventurous but keeping to a folky, celtic direction. Some tracks are just Lionel, some with him and piano and some have a full rootsy, unplugged band. But I think the most compelling part of it is his voice and the way he suites his voice to the mood of those great lyrics.
